Here is a 65/66
Steering Column that has been modified to connect to the new
Randallsrack
The column has been shortened
and an adapter sleeve and bearing installed. Also connected is the
intermediate shaft

early 67 and later 67/68
From top to bottom 65/66
column that goes straight into the steering box
The middle one is an early 67
column. The steering column is not collapsible but has a flange
where the rag joint is.
The bottom one is a later
67/68 column. It has a slip shaft that is designed to collapse in
a front end collision. The bottom end of the slip shaft with
the rag joint has been removed in this
