Here is some pictures of a power trunk system I put in our 65 Coupe. I used parts from a Cadillac and with slight modifications adapted it to the Mustang. I installed the release button for the trunk under the dash. The Cadillac system works just fantastic. When you close the trunk the Cadillac motor slowly pulls the trunk lid into a closed position. I highly recommend this conversion.
